I rate first-class lounges by how nice they look, quality of seating, food, amenities.
1. Cathay Pacific - Hong Kong. There are 2 lounges but The Pier (the other is West Wing) is hands down # 1 in the world. From fine service in restaurant setting for the greatest airport food to showers and private spa this club is #1 by a thousand miles.
2. British Airways - London. I never can remeber which terminal this club is in. I kind of just stumble upon it when I'm connecting in London. But this club with high celings and a sit down bar rates #2 in myy book.
3. American Airlines - Chicago. Near gate K17 their international club has a fine assortment of finger foods that rates near the top.

Revised Comment - I just got back from Hong Kong and it is West Wing (not The Pier) near Gates 1-5 that is the best in the world.
